How customizable is paypal when it comes to setting up and ecommerce site? What I am currently doing is uploading to my comcast webspace and I have a LR plug in that allows the parents to select photos and pay me via paypal.

Both were free to setup and use. Hence my using them. I am not really doing this to make a ton of money. But I am printing my photos from home and I want to break even on the ink and media costs. IF I get a little extra spending money, great, if not. I am there taking pics of my kids mostly anyway.

I want to continue to print my photos myself, I am very happy with my results as are the parents.

I am wondering if there is a better option for me other than paypal?

What I am looking for is the ability to upload photos and have parents order them from me. I want to be able to set my prices accordingly (I think I am too cheap) and maybe even offer discounts on multiple purchases.

I am offereing 4*6, 5*7, 8*10, and 13*9 collage photos. One of my problems with the collage photos is allowing parents to select the photos they want to use in the collage and have the order be a specific price. I don't have the knowledge on how to do that with the current PP plugin for lightroom. And I am offering some picture packages with Qimage templates for a set price.

I am not a programmer/web developer in any sense. Although I am slowly learning more and more every day.

What is a reasonably priced option as far as a website like smugmug or doing it myself using paypal tools? Is it even possible?

Question 2: Should I go with a Pixma Pro 9500 MK II or an Epson 1400? I want to stay around $400 for a printer.

I have been using Canon printers for years, but I need to get something that does wide format. Right now I am getting them done by another company, but I want to control the prints and the output myself.

Any printer recommendations are appreciated. I am currently using a Canon 6700d to print everything but the collages.

Again, I am not in this to make money, just cover costs and like I said, if I make enough to fund a few lenses or a new body. Well I am okay with that too.

Thanks

Scott

You can easily set up zenfolio to do what you want. They pay and it goes into your paypal account. You can also set paypal up to accept credit cards.
