I saw this ad in a magazine the other day and was wondering if anyone knows where the two circled places are? Anyone? Anyone?

Note: these are not my images. They are from an advertisement in Outdoor Photorgrapher magazine.

I think the second shot, the arch next to the photo of the elk, may be Cabo San Luca. I remember seeing that arch at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula

That first pic looks a bit like Pictured Rocks in the upper peninsula of Michigan,
but the colors & layers of the rock doesn't quite fit.
