Thanks.

They are "good enough". Not the same quality as the regular Westcott lines, but they are not junk either. I only had the chance to handle them once and they struck me as OK.

Thanks Mark1, I guess for hobbyist like me it should do OK then. The price is right though.
Better than some of those ebay stuff, you will say?

The simple "ebay" category is never a good reference you can find Profoto equipment on ebay. But I understand your thinking, and yes, at least it is a name brand that does have a level of quality expected from it.

Mark nailed it. They are 'good enough' and 'ok'. :D

Not great but good, and good for the price.

Sorry, when I mean ebay stuff.. I mean those generic Chinese made softboxes, trying to say this without getting into trouble; we have been having some good stuffs coming from China lately.

Also, keep in mind that the Westcott box does not have a removable diffusion panel and does not accept grids.

That's good to know. I replied based on the specs on B&H's site.

yes, its removable... i called.

but wasn't aware it was part of their 'lesser' Photo Basic's line - now I'm split on that and the Bowens 32x40. I want the size, but the quality also. Sheesh.
