My wife & I decided to take a drive up to see Mt. Saint Helens yesterday (July 3rd) and these are a couple of the photos I snapped. We took these photos at the Johnston Ridge Observatory. The 1st was taken with my Tokina 12-24 f4 and the 2nd was taken by my wife with the 70-200 f4L. The mountain is letting off steam all the time now and the mound in the middle is growing.

Those are beautiful pictures of an awe-inspiring place. When we were there over 15 years ago, there was virtually no life at all to be seen. Wonderful how nature comes back despite the hardship. Those flowers really add a nice contrast.
