I recently had to sell this lens due to making the switch to full frame. I like the lens so much that I just purchased its full frame counter part, the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8. :)

Here's one of the last images I shot with this lens. I love using it as a portrait lens.

It's a cool lens to use at an Air Show.

Guys, can anyone help me decide? I didn't want to start a new thread (I am a newbie on this message boards, and were just lurking around on the photos).

I own Canon 1000D/Rebel XS, and my question is can I use this lens on it without need to do cropping later? Usually use it for family photos or just random landscape on my trips.

Thanks in advance.

No need to crop it (once you get used to keeping your feet out of the pics, lol).

Just picked this lens up yesterday after lusting after more expensive fisheyes for some time.

I am very impressed with the clarity and colors of this lens, and have already ordered Samyang's 35mm as well.

Hi all! First time picking up this lens. I was reaching for breakfast one morning, when suddenly I was blinded by a flash. I looked forward and saw a camera with a fisheye lens left there as a gift from an unknown sender. It was more delicious than the crispy bacon

Not the greatest fireworks shot but better than the rest of mine this night with the lens. July 14th at Butchart Gardens in my hometown of Victoria BC. Smoke was blowing towards the audience so from the middle of the show to the end, most of the fireworks would illuminate the smoke and hide the fireworks. The launch area was only about 100 meters in front of the audience and it was awesome to be able to catch both the audience and the fireworks explosion overhead in the same shot. Something else that stood out that night was all the cellphone cameras and LCD screens of the people watching.
