I'm looking at a few monitors and wondering about the usable space on a 1900x1200 monitor running lightroom 2 on a mac (I don't think it will matter though).

Could I see lightroom in the library module on a 1900x1200 monitor (just a screen shot) and the same for the develop module?

Thanks in advance!

Perfect! Thanks. I think the 24" will provide me with plenty of space. I have a 17" now that I use so anything will be better than that!

I tend to maximise the area for displaying the image - i.e. I hide what I'm not actually using. Here are examples of the library in grid mode and zoomed in, and the develop module, on that basis. Hope it's useful.
