Interesting, I had heard that Nikon may be producing an APS-C compact camera sometime soon. Looks like it may be true!

Why? I don't think there's a lot of evidence yet that Micro 4/3 is going to be widely successful, at least from Canon's or Nikon's perspectives. Before they go out and start building all sorts of new lenses and camera bodies I think they're going to want to have proof that it won't be wasted effort and cost.
