I have a canon 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 EF lens....
It's not USM or IS (unfortunately!)
I have yet to find it on e-bay NON USM or IS. I am trying to get a price on it so I can decide to sell or keep, any help would be appreciated.
(there are no "switches" or anything on the camera except for the af to m switch.)
The glass and action on it is all good! (since bad glass cuts a price dramatically i thought I'd add this LOL)

Is it really a 75-300 lens?

yeah that's it! I also have an 80-200
The 80-200 has problems... sounds like there's a broken motor or something,... but still takes pictures in manual mode.... I really wish I could post these for sale or trade... just have to wait another 3 weeks or something

Don't panic, they aren't too valuable to a lot of this group. I had good luck selling mine on craigs list. Got $75 for it.
The 80-200 I don't know much about, but it seems to be held in good standing in this group. Might be worth fixing and keeping.

It's prolly not worth much. The 75-300 line of lenses is pretty much considered the worst lenses in Canon's lineup. As you can see, even new it goes for $160... if you were to sell it... you'd make maybe $50-$100 at most.

Do you use telephoto zoom a lot? If so, I would seriously consider getting another one, the Canon 55-250 IS can be had for around $200 used and it is a decent lens.

I am looking to just sell both of them (checked e-bay, the 70-300 is going for $100+) and I am still looking for the 80-200, I really want to turn around and get a new 10d or 20d body and a 50mm f/1.8

I have a 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III also, and I got it for like $70 as a package deal with my XS.
