Anybody recognize this? Looks like a juvi of a heron type? From Bunche Beach, FL. Thanks for looking!

I think that must be a first year bird, because later they go through a phase where they are mostly brown, before finally arriving at adult colors. I've never seen one at this stage, so it's great that you got a photo of one and posted it.
