Great set. Textures are cool. I've got to try that. I love the "aged look" on the pictures.

These are great photos. I might challenge you on some of the post techniques that you selected for the photos, though. In #3, for example -- awesome pose, a fun little moment between lovers, but its still tender -- her hand on his knee, the way they fall together in the frame, the look on his face says "she completes me." But then the post seems to eat away at the moment -- its so unusual it actually seems to be competing for attention with the moment. And it is also amplifying your shadows, which indicate the light was hard -- nothing wrong with hard light, but this is a soft moment to my eye, and the two aren't congruent.

#4 -- great pose and great post, but they don't feel like they match. The edgy almost Dave Hill look seems out of place with the moment they are sharing. And its a rich moment, so would you want to desaturate it, or amplify the energy of the moment with richer colors, even if those colors were selective?

Which brings me to #5 -- where I think you nailed it. Great post, great composition, great lighting, and a unique pp that sets the photo apart while complimenting the energy of the photo at the same time. I totally get how these two feel about each other in this photo.

My .02 cents. Thanks for sharing your work.

My favorite shot is the 2nd shot, but it seems a little over processed and washed out. I wish it were a little more vibrant because the moment is so nice. :)

Canon 50D, 50mm 1.8 and some kit lenses. Looking forward to purchasing my first L series lens!

I love the couple, the expressions, composition, etc, etc... But every single one looks over-cooked and there is not a lot of consistency for me -- Would look quite weird in an album or something.

Dial back the editing and I think they would be even more amazing.

mattograph - thank you for the CC :) Always welcomed. Definitely some very valid points in what you say. This shoot was kind of a couple "test run" for me to experient with some different stuff, so that's great CC for me to take to my next one!!!

I'm still playing around with PP styles a bit and how heavy I want them, etc.

:D
