I took my camera up onto Beacon Hill in Leicestershire a couple of days ago as it was the first time in ages we'd had some sun!

Anyway, I thought I'd try a contre-jour type shot so had a crack at working an HDR up.

I took 3 exposures at -2, 0 and +2EV and combined them in Photomatix's detail processor then finished the image off in Elements 8.

I've tried to keep the image as natural looking as possible and I think I've succeeded, what do you reckon?

Looks as natural as you can get with HDR. Good job.

Have you tried blending exposures to see which one works better for you?

Thanks guys. I tried a blended exposure too as it happens, but preferred the HDR once it had been tweaked of levels/contrast in Elements.
