Went up to Kerry Park on Saturday for some shots of downtown...it was a gorgeous day so perfect day to shoot my favorite city.

Last minute invite: I am going to the sand castle sculptures in Federal Way tomorrow around 10 or 11am. Then I would like to spend a couple hours shooting around Tacoma maybe. My plans are usually last minute but I give out the open invite anyway, just in case anyone has the day off.

It sounds really cool, but I'm in Arizona this week - lots of sand, but no sculptures. :)

I spent an hour exploring the area around the Tacoma Farmer's Market and decided that I must return, but with company of the photographer kind. There are just too many areas and alleys that I should not go alone.

Indeed. Tacoma has a history and is a GREAT place for a photo opportunity. There is so much personality there. But you are right, some parts are not the best area to wander around alone - especially with expensive equipment gear. I would like to go down there one of these days to explore.

So long as you stick to the North End, you really have nothing to worry about.

So, OK, Marlene and all, when do we do a Tacoma meetup? C'mon, it's time!
