So I was talking with my wife about tomorrow. She's excited about seeing the Saturday Market for the first time. She's not too thrilled about riding the Max, but was giddy as a school girl about being near the Lloyd Center, so I guess we are going there after... lol

Lol mine was so excited that her new job was walking distance to Lloyd Center lol there are days it cost me to send her to work :(

Max is not that bad, dont let it scare her, nobody will mess with you. I have taken naps on max before (not suggested with camera gear) when I would ride from Gresham into DT (about an hour ride). Theres not alot of people bigger then me so I figure I am good to go

Well I think I have a few options planned out for parking. Gateway/NW 99th Ave or E122nd/Menlo Park then ride the Max. or Smartpark Garge on NW 1st & Davis.

We also have another POTN member Mark Caldwell who may be able to meet us at the Skidmore Fountain at 1:00, so we can play at the Saturday Market for a while!

Well, that's where we are meeting, noon at the Skidmore fountain, correct everyone?

I am not familiar with my Portland area, especially down town. All I know is Saturday Market is by Old Town and Water Front and I want to go! :) I know where Old Town Pizza is next to China Town :/ That's about it. I hope I can wake up in time for this..I work graveyard shift so I'll be getting off work here in a few hours.

Just follow the max line down to burnside :) cant miss it, the fountain is on the river side of the tracks.

I will be the guy with a T3 ( I have a serious case of gear envy ever since landing in Hawaii ) hanging around me neck.

I hope everyone has a great time!

Maybe when/if a Seattle meetup happens, I'll be there.

Lost you guys somewhere in the market but that's ok, had fun shooting and watching people. We are now at Olive Garden and then heading home. Was great meeting up.

Sorry about that, had an eye on you turned and took a couple pictures turned back around and could not find you ....... Also lost Tony along the way. We had fun as well, not so sure that street shooting is my thing :( will have to see how some of the shots turned out when I pop in the chip this evening.

OK, gang, I came back with over 700 shots! I've just begun working on them, I guess I'll get the thread started, I'll put it in the Urban Life and Travel section and I'll post a link here!

Oh, and could someone real good with names post a list here? I remember most but I don't want to embarass myself by leaving anyone out:)!

I tell ya I met more non-POTN photographers today than POTN photographers! Everywhere I turned there was someone with a DSLR out to shoot!

Anyway, I had a good time and hope everyone else did too!
