By the way, for those checking out the meetup photos thread, if you have never spent time checking out that Urban L&T sharing section I'd really encourage you to. There are several "active" threads of some very cool "general" themes that are really worth looking at!

Looks like you all had fun, I couldn't swing Portland this time, maybe another time in the future. Enjoying the shots that have been posted so far, I" looking forward to seeing more.

Just to get the ball rolling so I can join a meetup too, any interest In a Seattle-ish area one around May 26?? And how a out a nature meetup instead of street photography this time?

I'd be in for a Seattle-ish area one. What are you thinking? Arboretum or Fisherman's Terminal or ???

Hey everyone, long time potn-er here, done quite a few meet ups in California, but was recently stationed in the Seattle Area. I'd love to meet up with some people sometime, I am also starting a project here in the next month or so and will be looking for a few people to help out on occasion if anyone is interested!

Looking forward to getting to know some local shooters!

Mat

Welcome to Seattle Mat! If the project you need help with is going for a cruise on the Ice Breaker, sign me up!!!:)

Glad to hear everyone had fun at the meetup! Wish I could've made it but Portland was a bit too far for me. I spent this morning amongst the tulips instead, I'll post some pics once I've gone through them a little more thoroughly!

Is that Memorial Day weekend? Might make scheduling kind of hard if a lot of people are out of town. Or maybe it will get us some extra out-of-towners to join! Either way, it's too far away for me to commit for sure but I'll certainly try to join up.

Went out to Port Townsend this weekend, with a stop in Poulsbo and some random beaches along the way. So far I've only processed enough to keep up with my 365 Project, hope to get the rest done this week.

Heh! be careful what you wish for! Jaymz and I alone have well over 1,000 shots!

'Course, I've only posted a small fraction of the ones I've gone through, a bit over 100 so far...

We're glad you're enjoying the photos, though!

You know, if someone in the Portland/Vancouver area wanted to go to a Seattle meetup and was kind enough to let me ride along, share in gas, I'd be happy to make plans!

Wifey and I have been talking about going to Seattle for a weekend. She has highschool friends there she could visit and I could wander the city.

Gee I think we should start tossing around dates that are a bit out so plans can be made .... the schedule is filling up fast with Wedding plans, day trips, rose festival activities, daughters dance performances and life :(

Sorry I couldn't make it down for this; would have been fun. I'd definitely be interested in another Seattle meetup, though; had a blast the last time. Can't make middle of May, but after that I should be relatively open.
