Another thread, some more photos of New York City

I recently had an overnight, one day trip to NYC - I started the day walking from somewhere around the middle of Central Park, down 7th to the Trade Center site, before running out of time and hopping a cab back to the station and last train back to MA.

My only real aim was "character" - both the character of the city, and the characters in the city. Very few of these photos had anything more than a couple of seconds worth of composure, if that - most were "snap and run" (especially the ones taken in the middle of intersections!). I was walking with my 7D and Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 lens, in TV mode, with ISO 200 or higher, 1/100th or higher (many at 1/200th) - I let the aperture figure itself out for this one.

I know the selective coloring effect is a bit cheesy, but I like how that one came out.
