I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 100mm f2.8L and I was wondering if anybody knew of any rebates comming up. Would be just my luck to pull the trigger (itchy trigger finger), & have the reabtes start a week or 2 later. If I remember right Canon always has spring rebates. Am I wrong??

Mark

Saw a good deal on a used one over on FM earlier. $850. Wouldn't get my hopes up for the rebates.

does anyone have any idea how long those spring rebates usually last!? I'm going to be buying new equipment sometime between April and May.

I believe Adorama on ebay has the 100 IS for $949. Ebay cashback (8%) will make the final price $873 and shipping is free. Not bad of a price if you need it soon.

Well I found a PDF file showing the rebates from March 7th through April 3rd. Seems the rebates double if purchased together with a 5D Mark II.
How can I post a PDF online to share here?

$850 is too much for a used lens, no matter how mint. You can buy it brand new with USA warranty from the Adorama store on eBay for $873 after Bing cashback.

^ I didn't realize the cost had dropped on this one. Have not priced it since I got mine. Thought it was still $1050.

Here is the link to the PDF:

Took me a couple refresh to get it to download, or right click and hit save target as.

Looks like there is a rebate starting Sunday, $65 off the 100L Macro--double if you buy a 5D MKII with it.

This is a weird rebate program. I wonder if they'll still run the May - July program like they usually do.
