When open a file in PS the camera and lens info are not shown in file info but they are all shown in Bridge's exif. How can I import the lens and camera info into PS file info?
Thanks for your pointers
NB

So, I'm not sure what you are seeing. If I open Bridge and select a Raw file and open File/File Info I see the shooting and lens info in Camera Data 1. If I then open the image in Photoshop (via Camera Raw) and in PS check File/File Info I see the same thing in Camera Data 1.

I get the same results if I try a jpeg that has been created (exported in Lightroom with full Exif).

Maybe you culd give some detail about what approach you are taking in Bridge and PS.

Thanks for your quick help Tony. I open a file in Bridge, see all info about Lens and camera. Click the very same file to open it in PS3 for additional editting, then click File/file information/ camera data 1, no Lens and camera info show-up.
Maybe my PS3 not set correctly. I'll look into it
Again, many thanks for your help. Tony

The Exif data isn't different, it's just that some programs don't display as much of the data to you. For some reason the lens info is one that often gets omitted by programs and that never made any sense to me.

Neuil, what type of file is it (Raw, jpeg, tiff, psd) and has anything been done to it outside of Photoshop?

So look at it in Bridge. This is non standard exif data and maybe they haven't updated Photoshop to read it yet :)
