Oh man, I love it. Got my B800 today with 32x40" softbox and 22" beauty dish, so killer, so amazing! I have not seen any shift in color temp. as some reviews had stated. The only drawback I found so far is I'm shooting at the lowest power and I can't push it past f/8 or so at 100 ISO. But grids will easily give me a little playing room, and besides, lower power = less battery consumption (I'm waiting on the Vagabond II to ship from backorder, Tuesday they told me!).

Both images lit with B800 as main and 430ex to blow out the background.

My pops:

No kidding. The lights are capable of nuclear power flash, aren't they! It's amazing how far DOWN you need to dial the lights and still have incredible amount of reserve.

Nice portrait. I like the processing.

This was at the lowest power setting and f/5 ish! I'm definitely gonna get some grids to add flexibility.

Thanks! f/1.4 for high grain black and white, f/8 or so for studio.
