Hey everyone!

I did do a search, maybe I didnt use the right words.. But I am looking for any links, threads on here to help guide me on posing a heavyset couple?

The male is not so heavy set.. but the female is.

I would like to make sure that I am shooting from flattering angles, and not put anything out there that would bum her out.

Any suggestions, links, articles, threads are greatly appreciated.

I apologize if there is a thread already in place..

Shannon

I'm sure others will have more experience, but I have read a couple of pointers.

1) Don't shoot from below the level of her face. You don't want her looking down at your camera - it will accentuate chin and neck folds. If you can actually elevate yourself above eye-level with a step ladder or stool, it's more flattering. (This is true regardless of the model's size.)

2) A hand on the lower hip will help to accentuate or give the illusion of a waist-line. (Also true of slimmer models.)

to reduce the double chin have the subject stick their chin towards you and then tilt down the face. You could also shoot from a higher angle.
