I have a post on craigslist saying that im willing to barter my skills. so far no responses. I do have a list of things that im not interested in and a longer list of things that I am interested in.

I'm tempted to go through the bike category and find the bikes I like and email them and ask if they are interested in bartering. :D We decided today that we would like to get two bikes and a bunch of accessories for them.

I've bartered a family session photo for a ipod touch :P. I've also bartered a mechanic to replace the timing belt on my car for a senior photo session for his daughter.

Took about 100 pictures in an hour and a half with no editing for my school's yearbook and got a $50 baby add out of it.

this is somewhat barter related.....

I would like to offer some local places free business cards, in exchange they promote my business, at the very least on the very business cards that I give them for free. The cards could be half their info / half mine either vertically or horizontally. Or I could simply take the bottom portion of the card with my contact information.

How would you all go about this if you tried it?

This would work for florist shops, tux/dress shops, limo rental's, etc. :)

You could even photograph something for them and put that on the card so you can put "photographed by....".
