Waterdrops - FINALLY!

We finally got around to doing waterdrops last night, this is our best 3 :)

C&C welcome!

Oh, and before I forget.. We could only get one type of splash, can anyone share how they got the saucer looking drops and all the other styles? Is it to do with the liquids being used?

Waterdrops are almost as good as Rorschach's.

Nice shot. In second shot, wish there was a more light on the droplet itself. Background is very good.

Thanks! Yeah, the 2nd one could have been better, these were the best out of over 150 shots.. Pretty hard to capture them!

GREAT shots.
I have found, in order to get the different "types" of slashes , adjust the depth of the water and also the height it is dropping.

yeah, i knew that bit.. But didn't think they looked like ink blots.. maybe i'm wrong? Do they? :)

They don't look like ink blots, but they would work in the same way. Something meaningless to stare at and then the shrink could give some meaninless response to your responses to it. :)

The whole business is akin to phrenology.
