My guess is that (even though I can't see the plate in your pic) that the runner was called out. I would have to agree. I always hated bang-bang plays. There was NO way I could be right. One coach always whined and complained. Also, being in proper position can really limit the amount of argument the coach may have. I always sold the call regardless. I have found that if I am confident in my call, the less arguing by the coaches. Kevin

Mar 08, 2010 15:42 | #13 I believe the ump was just out of view on the left and camera side of the play. The throw came from shallow left field so it would make sense to me for the ump to cheat down the 1st base line to get a good view. Im just glad he was out of my way wherever he was
