Does anyone have any experience with this lens? I would be using it on a 50D. I see some good reviews but most of them are for the DG version. Clay

You may want to doublecheck it works on digitals. Some of the older Sigmas have compatibility issues. As far as performance, I would not expect much difference. Taylor

He says he has verified it works on a digital Rebel and it will work on all digital EOS cameras. I just wasn't sure if not having the DG coatings would be a serious drawback. Clay
