First time poster, long time reader. First time taking pics of my dogs, well, 2 of em, with strobes and my new lens. C&C appreciated since I'm new to this. Boxer's name is Jasmine, boxer / lab mix is Lexie. 2 other dogs not ready to be photographed just yet. :)

Lovely. Good exposure, natural colors, excellent eyes. Focus on eyes, suitable DOF. Well done. Even a backdrop - which suits Jasmine's color very well.

Thanks guys. Still learning. Shot it with a 10D and 24-70 2.8 L. The dogs aren't usually that well behaved, but for some reason with a camera in front of them, they tend to "calm" down and look sad. We found Jasmine in a local newspaper, owner mistreated her, but she is registered and has papers. Lexie was adopted in Lexington, NC, that's where the name came from. They're sweet dogs, great with people, just a little hyper at times.

I'd say those were outstanding. I hope you're pleased.
