Mar 08, 2010 00:30 | #1 My Sigma 24mm f/1.8 EX DG macro is the most underrated lens in my arsenal. I love the quality wide open, love the macro abilities and looks great on my 5d mkII. It's probably as fast (or slow) as my 85L and def. a lot louder... but I don't mind that at all.

I love the portability (probably Canon's smallest lens) and sharpness of the 28. Somewhat noisy AF, but hey, at least it AFs correctly... It's a great little lens that I think is generally overlooked because of the number of excellent zooms that cover that focal length and the fact that 20mm isn't really wide enough for most ppl on a 1.6x crop camera. I find it just right for standard wide shots on the 1D and it performs flawlessly. Dan
