Friends,
About 6 months ago I bought a G10 along with the lens accessory kit. This accessory kit came with an adaptor tube, LA-DC58K adaptor, some filters, and three lenses: telephoto, macro and wide angle.
I just took some shots yesterday and decided that a wide angle would be the best lens to use, but I am at a loss at how to use the wide angle lens.
I have set the menu to allow the LA-DC58K adaptor. I have attached the components in this order: Adaptor tube, LA-DC58K lens adaptor, Macro lens, and finally the "HD DSLR MC AF 0.45X WIDE ANGLE W/MACRO" lens.
Here's the problem: When I turn on the camera and look thru the LCD display , I do not see a wide angle image. Instead it is if I am looking thru a tube: I can see a cirlce around the perimeter of the LCD display. If I zoom in a little bit, the circular perimeter goes away, but the image is FAR from being a wide angle. If I zoom in too far, the interior lens strikes the inside of the MACRO and the camera shuts down.
How can I make this work? Am I doing this correctly?
TIA to all for your advice.
