Sorry if this was already covered - I've searched but any thread that comes close has been closed and I can't ask what I need to.

I haved a set of Phottix PT-04 II (purchased new a month os so ago). I just found a deal on a set of PT-04TM. When I tried them out, I found that the two sets do not seem to be compatable. I found a couple of threads/sites that say the two are not compatable, but others that imply there might be a fix for this.

Is there a way to get the older TM to work with the newer Phottix II (or vice versa)?

The price was good enough that I will still be happy to have a back-up set, but it would be great if I could also have the flexability to use the two sets together.

Thanks for any hints or references or links to a solution.

Kevin

There is no way for them to work with each other.

Rather than having a backup set, I'd highly urge you to buy quality triggers - cybersync, skyports or pocketwizards. The money you'll spend replace batteries, and having a backup battery set should be put towards a more reliable set. Don't waste your money anymore
