40d hair

hi i have taken my 40d to have the sensor cleaned as i had a eyelash in the viewfinder and i thought it was on the sensor they cleaned the sensor but the hair is still there it dose not affect the photos at the moment but it is annoying can anyone help ? they said to send it to canon service center

It could be on the focusing screen if your seeing it in the viewfinder.

I agree, it could well be on the focus screen or even sticking to the focus superimpose screen above the focus screen. A quick study of the manual and careful use of a Rocket blower could solve your problem.

Yes, I also vote for focusing screen as the most likely location for an eyelash...

if you see it in the viewfinder, it has to either be on the mirror or on the viewfinder, not on the photosensor...
