Finally someone was kind enough to correct me by telling me I was posting on the wrong 70 X 200 IS F/2.8 forum. So I am new here with the joy of discovering what you folks are doing with the Mack II latest. You can see that I am a bit handicapped with the Rebel Xti however while I wait the image improvement has been most satisfactory. Next in due time the 7D will follow. I shoot a bit of everything but really shoot to follow the grandson's wrestling and baseball. I've been trying to be serious with the new quality glass for a bit less than a year. Glad to be here. Will appreciate all comments that can be called constructive criticism and a bit more than just "nice".

Showing is a kettle of apples being cooked down to apple butter. The following image is a crop that is really less than 10% of the first kettle image.

I do not understand why the forum accepts one image long side 1024 mp while on other occasions it will not claiming that they are to large. The last three posts are the example.

I think it means large as in size wise. You need to keep the images under 150kb

The first two images above were refused at 1024 mp on the long size. When refused they were the exact same size as the third image. Those two I had to resize clear down to 350 mp on the long side to make them acceptable. Sure does make me wonder. Is there a site that will show me the simple math conversion tables?

Once again.....this image accepted at 450 mp on the long side and refused at 1000 on the long side.
The 1024 mp guideline is confusing me.
