Are you saying you shoot only JPEG then and not RAW?

I am shooting only RAW, but I am a newbie, so I learn everyday something. Today I have tried for the first time Light Room and my second attempt of unrealistic photoediting can be seen here:
https://photography-on-the.net …p=13265283&postcount=1202
I have posted also in a wrong thread:oops:

As you can see from the first image, even with a raw file, I need to use mask to correct the overexposed light and until today I did not knew how to do this with Digital Photo Professional, so I have tried with LR and it worked as I wanted it...

I took this shot during a slideshow at a recent birthday party. It was in the afternoon, so there was light coming in from a glass door (camera right), but the room lights were turned off and it was relatively dark in the room. I'm sure some other lenses could have done a good job as well, but I gotta say, shooting at ISO 3200, 110mm, f/2.8, and 1/30 shutter speed and getting a very, very sharp image is always a good thing. I know this image has been sized for web, but the original is just as nice.

I think he wanted to see more of the model's assets so to speak...

Haha ahhhh I don't know whether to laugh or cry because I didn't get that joke. If I would've read it 2 years ago I would've got it but I'm having a hard time kicking the photography aspect of it out of my head ;)

Thanks Tim! I'm glad i got rid of the 85/135 for this now because the model I shot a few nights ago was 5'10 (6'2 in heels) and I was backed up all the way and at 70mm just to get her in frame with a little wiggle room up top and below. That would've been impossible had I only used the 85. Very nice shot btw and tack sharp for 1/30th or any speed for that matter.

Using Rebel XTi. Comments may skip my need for 7D. LOL This building is well over a hundred years old. The owners just spent a bundle to fix and upgrade it in Northcentral Pennsylvania...Waterville.

If that's ok, OF COURSE it's ok. These are some great shots, the only excuse for not posting them is to not fuel my (and I'm sure others as well) jealousy.

Another great shot and congrats on the 500px award.

Keep 'em coming

I thought it was as well. But did not want to argue it since it could have been one of those new Deer Elk.
