In that kind of weather I would rather be panning a healthy serving of ham and eggs. That however would not produce the nice capture you presented.

I got this lens about 2 months ago and finally I have time to share with you guys. I have to say this my my favorite of all the lenses that I have ever owned. I think, I love 70-200 f2.8 IS mark ii more than my new lens (i got it yesterday) the 85L 1.2 mark ii. Here are two to share one is at 2.8 the second is at f4. I can not tell the difference between the two.

When convert it over to jpeg I have to low the iq so much to fit 150km for the second image. If u look at them at full resolution they look identical.

Just got my copy this morning and took it to the dog park with our two dogs to give it a whirl. My 7D is new also, so I think there's going to be some user error until I get some more practice in!
