Not trying to be big headed but I think this guy got sidetracked looking at my 70-200. I gave him thumbs up and he did the same.

I was very careful when I took this because she's been watching me the whole time. I pretended I was shooting ducks when in reality I was actually using my LCD to look at her and see if she was looking at me.. Very ninja-ish.. :)

Nice set! I know what you are talking about. It is very hard to take picture of someone, without being noticed.

Here one I did - this one with respect to the woman photographer - only she will recognize her self on this shot, if she ever sees it:

WARAT.........Tell us about the animal head carvings if you know what they represent there. The carvings are really fine work as is your capture image to share their presence. Thanks.

The funny thing is her eyes are actually that saturated of a color believe it or not. I barely did any enhancing on her eyes besides sharpening.

Doc, I agree that Warat's capture of the zodiac sculpute was nicely done. Here is some additional info from the Houston Art alliance site:

An 18th century imperial retreat near Beijing and Houston’s Hermann Park may seem too far apart in space and time to have anything in common. But from March 3 through June 3, Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) unites the two worlds with the first major public sculpture by internationally renowned Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei, titled Circle of Animals / Zodiac Heads, to be on view outdoors at Hermann Park near the southeast corner of McGovern Lake.

Circle of Animals / Zodiac Heads, comprising 12 monumental bronze animal heads each weighing 800 pounds, is Ai Weiwei’s re-creation on an oversized scale of the traditional zodiac sculptures that once adorned the fabled fountain-clock at Yuanming Yuan (Old Summer Palace) outside Beijing.

Thank you both on the bronz castings which had to be preceeded by a carving. Fantistic sharing. Many viewers who visit the forum should be pleased you took the time to tell the rest of the story.

I should have provided a back story on those sculptures but I didn't know a thing about it until now. i should have googled it though. :)

Thanks for all the compliments.

And I want to say thanks to digital since he was the one who took a picture of it first and saw it in this thread.

Thank you Warat. I like the processing on your shots, btw. Well done.

Some more shots from a local dog competition at our local park. All taken with a canon 1.4x extender. I probably could have gotten by without it though.
