Haha, nice pic. Though if you're planning on doing more outdoor shots with good day light, you might want to consider getting a 100-400L to supplement your 70-200. While you can get equally good shots with the 70-200 + 2x, that combination is SIGNIFICANTLY heavier than the 100-400 alone. The good ol' "dust pump" may be old in design, but it's tried and true and for outdoors, it's hard to beat. Just a thought/suggestion. :)

Thanks. I will have three grandchildren in major colleges or headed that way by this time next year. My growth will have to continue with the two fine pieces of glass I now own. If I live through all this college I may be thinking and reaching for higher ground. I have no desire to start a business at this point in my life.

Its not much, but its the my first day with the lens.
The tracking of both the camera and the lens is in the very serious "holy crap!" department.
