7d top info lcd screen illumination

I shoot alot in dim clubs and bars and i was wondering if there is a way to keep the top lcd info screen illuminated at all times?

What would have been more convenient would be if you could set it up as you could with the same illumination on the Canon T90, i.e. that it would come on as soon as you hit any button. Then it would be on when you need it but not drain the batteries all the time.

Alas, you can't.
