LOL that reminds me of the first time I saw elk in the wild. Some friend and I were driving through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We all just saw the elk crossing sign and were commenting on it just as we noticed 3 elk off the side of the road eating. I wanted to stop and get a photo of the elk and the sign, but they won't stop for me.

No Elk Crossing sign nearby but there was a School Bus Stop sign a few yards away - perhaps they were going to this place in Ponca, Arkansas (about 5 miles away)  Built in 2002 by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (Maybe that's why Arkansas elk are so smart!!)
