Has anyone upgraded the neck strap on their S3? I was just looking at Domke straps, but there was not enough info to know if they would work/fit my S3. Appreciate any tips, I'm new to the S3, and an amatuer photographer.

While here, I'd like to compliment the site and users, very helpful and a great source of info. From tips found here, I was able to find a Raynox telephoto lens, as well as a Canon wide angle that others use, and am very happy with both, so thanks guys!

I use anOptech strap (external link) on my similarly sized SX20....very nice upgrade. You could also check out the POTN straps from the support shop at the top of every page. They are a little big for a camera this size....but they are nice on larger cameras.

What sort of lens cap is that? The cap on my SX20 is getting a mind of it's own.

58mm? I'm thinking the SX20 is 52mm I'll double check before I order anything!

Yes, the SX20 takes a 52 mm lens cap. Tamron and Nikon, among others, make lens caps in that style with the center thumb tabs.

The SX20 is 52mm, so is my SX10.

I'm saying with the lensmate adapter on it, you use 58mm parts then

The adaptor is a 52mm to 58mm adaptor to allow the usage of 58mm lenses just to clarify a little more. I use the same adaptors and lens cap on my S3.

Thanks for the input on the neck straps. I ran across a new Domke on ebay for 10.95 and free shipping, so I snagged it. Appreciate the help! :)

Ordered this too
http://www.amazon.com …0LG8/ref=ox_ya_os_product (external link)
but that's a different topic. My old one is really struggling to hold up the SX20, it was a $20 WalMart special. I don't need anything fancy just something strudy.
