Mar 10, 2010 01:31 | #3 I own both original Stofens plus numerous makes of knockoffs (20+ in all) and there is not a nickels worth of difference in how they work, the light quality or quanity. Some fit a little looser and some a little tighter is about the only differences that I have noticed. Stofens are made form a little thicker plastic than any of my knockoffs but I have yet to see where that makes a difference. Some of my knockoffs have a diffuser style checkering (like the pullout diffuser panel on a flash) but in all my testing I have not seen where that made a difference either. NOPE no difference other than a few dollars as far as I can figure. Rand

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Mar 10, 2010 06:27 | #4 Its cheaper, will do the same for you, which is very little. Unless you are working in a room with low white ceilings and white walls skip them altogether and get yourself something like a demb flipit or lumiquest 80/20.
