Currently using a 10D, getting a 5D next week and will get a 70-200MM L 4 in a couple of more weeks. I have read and seen on other threads 17-40L , 24-105L and 50 mm 1.4 are all fantastic. What do you like?

Full frame has breathed new life into this lens for me. The 135 is pretty awesome as well, although it is pretty awesome on any camera! 5D Flickr

It just cost so much. The 17-40 is definitely my most favorite lens and the 50 1.4 comes in second. 5D & 30D| Canon 16-35ii f/2.8 L USM| Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L USM | Canon EF 100 f/ 2.8 Macro USM

If you really like the 17-40 that much you should definately get the 16-35. Its an awsome lens and is also on my 5D-2 alot of the time. Especially since the 24-70 is so damn heavy. Great lens!
