I can't seem to step up power or step down. When I step up to 1/4, the flash goes very powerful, but when I step back down, there is no drop in power.
The unit is an interfit Venus 300

I sounds to me like there is a problem with the power output but apart from that I cannot say where to go except give Interfit a call direct.
