I just got one today. I was in the habit of sticking my lens cap in my back pocket, but that cost me precious seconds, so I picked up a lens leash from the local camera shop.

I use lens hoods on all lenses and never attach the lens cap unless I'm either removing the lens from teh camera or putting the camera away at the end of the day. -- Ken
