even with those big lenses you guys got pretty close to the bears... i'd probably have run off by then haha.

Wow, really like the shot. The bear looks so calm & collected, but knowing it could 'knock your head clean off' if it wanted to is kind of spooky.

The tight crop makes the bear look bigger and more menacing to me, not a bad thing at all!

I too like the crop and the negative space to the left. Very nice. I am soooooooooo jealous of your access to these animals. And of course your 500!
