These shots are all great. the monkey is my clear favourite. Super sharp too. what lens are you using if you don't mind me asking? I'm guessing a telephoto L lens?

Nah, just a 135L shooting at F2 to F2.5. Sometimes I added a converter on it. I have a 500L but I think it is an overkill. I was disappointed that the lions were too far away and the sun was in the wrong angle. The bird of prey section is too dark. I wasn't close enough to the gates to blur the fence.

I love the second shot, I'm not exactly sure which species of big cat it is. Snow leopard? I also love the lemurs and the little golden monkey. Your photos are amazingly sharp.

Are the leopard pictures through glass? At our zoo you have to shoot through glass for the leopards.

It was through the wire fence. Often time it is not a problem with the fence because you can focus through it. It works best with a longer lens and you are closer to the fence than the subject. The fence may show if the subject gets too close to the fence.

Nice shots! I just got a new zoo membership to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo today. Can't wait to go. Purchased a new 100-400L at Christmas and a new 7D in October. I got some great shots there before with a rented 100-400L and my trusty 40D.
