Help! I have an XTi and the cf card button came out of the camera! Does anyone have any suggestions as how to get it back in? The local camera repair shop said to send it to canon but that is too expensive (estimated cost by shop $250).

Anyone have an excerpt from the canon repair manual on this?

Any and all suggestions welcomed with great thanks!

Put it back in and never take it out. Use the usb to camera to transfer pictures. (wink).

OR use a needle nose pliers to pull it out. :)

BTW, try the xti hack (i did) it's awesome, spot metering! iso 3200! etc.
