Caryn and Bob will be married this year.. this young couple have been friends for over 15 some years, and now they will be friends forever !..

Couples photography challenges me to make a photo that is dreamy and well composed… but with real people who might not be comfortable in front of the lens..

that is where you the photog must learn to create a photo that looks natural.

my tips are:

have them sit down.. and talk to each other, laugh, and smile, and all the time kiss !

here is what we did and the results are jaw dropping to me..

i used radio poppers in Ettl Mode to light them up on the fill side.

camera left with a 580 EXII in ETTL mode.

Camera:Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure:0.001 sec (1/1000)
Aperture:f/2.5
Focal Length:85 mm
ISO Speed:100
Exposure Bias:0 EV
Flash:On, Fired

I"m pretty sure that someone will say that the last picture is not level enough, though I myself am not bothered with that.

Whats up with no comments? These are attention worthy in every way! By the way these remind me of McNally shot, where he is using ten light sources. Here you have some cop car gelling!

Great shots, Phamster.

For #3, what if you crop out the "Do Not Enter" sign. My eyes got drawn to that immediately. Try to remove it and see if it looks better.

Really liking your work Pham!
