I am only posting because my 3 year old asked me what kind of bird this was and I had no answer .

and yes it was taken with a lil ole' 50mm 1.8 so its nothing special lol .

So bird watchers, any answer for me?

not a real great angle, but i would guess a mockingbird, based on bill length, tail length and overall color, but I may be mistaken. The dark areas on the lores is slightly uncharacteristic.
