A wildlife photographer. I will stick to babies and families ;)

I am only posting because my 3 year old asked me what kind of bird this was and I had no answer :oops:.

and yes it was taken with a lil ole' 50mm 1.8 so its nothing special lol .

So bird watchers, any answer for me?

not a real great angle, but i would guess a mockingbird, based on bill length, tail length and overall color, but I may be mistaken. The dark areas on the lores is slightly uncharacteristic.

Shooting: A Canon 400D with the 18-55mm f/3.5 - 5.6 kit lens, a 70-300mm f/4 - 5.6 and a 35 - 105mm f/3.4 - 4.5 (The 70-300 and the 35-105 are currently residing with my mom, who also owns a 400D and a 18-55 kit lens).
