Took this shot a while ago... I'm not entirely happy with it, but...

The interest in this photo, for me, is the reflection of the sunset's color on the ice. Everything else is distracting IMO. Try a panoramic crop starting just above the sun down to the base of the tree trunks, and all the way across the frame you have now.

Id give it a shot, but I have no image editor here...
