We crossed over the Hoover Dam late one night on a recent road trip to spring training in Phoenix and I grabbed this night shot. You can see the new bypass bridge being built in the background.

Very nice shot. About time they built a bypass around that thing. I use to have to drive my semi over it. That wasn't so bad, but the road down and back up stunk. :)

Boring.

Have at least a thimble of class. He took the effort to take the photo, edit, then post it.

Posters were polite in your wedding thread. Be nice.

anvilimage,

That is a nice shot, I like the balance between the dam and the sky.

Have been to Hoover Dam and found it quite difficult to create an interesting wide angle photo of the dam, which you have managed to do. Kudos.

Am looking forward to that bypass bridge being completed. Should provide interesting photography opportunities from that bridge.

Heh heh... Thanks for your comments!

@Canonloader: Signage right now indicates that trucks aren't allowed over the dam and have to go around on Hwy 40 to the south. Just a bit of a detour... ;)

@Supernova: I'm flattered that you found my pic boring enough that you had to post a troll-ish comment. Seriously... :D
