Pretty near, yeah, about 7 or 8 miles. I'm in Southport.

The reason I said Ormskirk was because of the pub near there (Bickerstaffe) called the Sandpiper. It too is literally on the border between Lancs and Merseyside.

Yeah, I know it, I pass it on my way to the M58 when I am heading out of town in that direction. There are a few 'Sandpipers' around these parts, however my username predates all of them, it comes from my old studios (Sandpiper Studios) which I had in Southport for a while, waaaay back in the 1980s

Yeah, we must be pretty close together. What sort of stuff do you like to shoot? I try and get out on trips fairly often and am always open to carpooling with like minded photographers and split petrol costs.
