RTH on Nest

A first for me, on the way home from school took the highway and as i was driving by the nest she got up to move around and i noticed her.
I am going to have to watch this for sure, the male was hunting in the field behind the bush. So happy i finally found an active nest

What a great find!... you should have some wonderful shots coming from this scenario... It will be interesting to see what happens in the continuing saga :). Good shooting!

I have a pair of eagles whose nesting tree blew down in a vicious wind storm last October... I was saddened to see it go as it had been there for well over a decade... last week I was overjoyed to see they are rebuilding a nest 200 yards away from the old site... I am quite excited to photograph the progress... as soon as the rain stops......

Thanks db, glad to hear that they set up camp in the same area and can't wait to see some shots from you. Finding the active RTH nest has made my week, I have been trying for a while to find something like this. i will be posting as much as i can but am hesitant to visit too often.
