UPS just delivered my new 7D - and I am still at work

My 7D just arrived, had it shipped to work and watching the battery charge right now. Getting pretty excited, was really surprised to be able to order it, we received a pretty good tax return and my wife asked if I needed a new camera (great wife). Now I just need to find a way to focus for the rest of the day - like not posting here until work is done - but its not easy.

My Mark IV was delivered last Monday and I'm on the road for work until April 7th. A weekend is nothing!

No Kidding- she will get a nice weekend.

Good thing about being married to an electrical engineer, she likes techee stuff even if she is not really into photography. I remember a time a little over 20 years ago, we went out a bought a hard drive (big expense 20 years ago), I was telling my friends at work and they all said the same thing - "how did you talk your wife into buying a new hard drive. I said it was easy she was the one asking the sales guy about all the specs.

My 7d arrived on Wednesday. Going to test it out at a soccer game on Sunday. I have no idea how to use the thing (which is half the fun)

We just got a 7D and we absolutly "Love" It, post some pics soon and let us know what you think of the camera...... We went from a XSI and the learning curve has been really steep though..!!!!!!

Normal operating procedure:
1. Charge up the battery.
2. Post on POTN the first thing you find wrong with the camera.
3. Shoot some ducks and post on POTN.
